Our Schools
The Cesar Chavez Academy is a public charter school serving grades K-8 whose goal is to be able to provide a rigorous curriculum for our students as they pass the elementary/middle school levels and prepare them for success as they pass through to the high school level. The mission of the Academy is to prepare Pueblo’s children for success as young scholars, citizens of the world, and community leaders by providing them with an ambitious academic program in a supportive
and challenging learning environment. While preparing children to meet and exceed Colorado’s high academic content standards, the school places a unique emphasis on the history, culture, and language of Latinos. The Academy also incorporates parents and community in the education process, and teaches its students that community involvement and participation is critical to success.
